This role is responsible for growing and generating revenue by maximizing regional sales to reach targets for the company. This is a leadership role that will lead and coach a high performing team. Overall responsibility of managing and developing the sales performance, sales channels and customer relations in the region. There may be key accounts responsibility to proactively seek new business potential, develop and maintain existing customer relations and negotiating and closing deals. This role requires a demonstrated systematic process approach to sales and management skills to effectively balance sales resources. Your portfolio will include Lidar, Sensors and Digital offering. The team is based in Saclay (91), close to Paris Your Key Responsibilities Include: • Define and implement sales strategy for the region in accordance with company and business area targets • Explore sales opportunities, identify, and research actions to achieve to sales in cooperation with your sales team(s) • Responsible for the development of sales channel by selecting the most suitable distributors/agents and managing of relations with selected partners • Ensure profitable sales by achieving the set profitability / profit levels and minimizing receivables turnover • Dissemination of customer knowledge, needs and requirements to segments and other relevant internal interest groups • Identify collaborative research projects with key industry stakeholders and manage clients interactions • Set sales targets for your sales team members • Provide constructive feedback to your sales team members in order to help them to maintain good sales performance / improve their sales performance. • Forecasting and reporting your sales team(s) performance as required by the sales management using the common tools and sales processes.
• Demonstrated success in technical sales (5-10 years) and strong knowledge of trade practices, contractual issues, financing instruments, etc. • Sales team managing experience (3-5 years) • Work experience in similar role • Demonstrated competence in technical outside sales and leadership. • Proactive communicator and skilled negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Fluency in English is a must. French will be highly appreciated and other languages (German, Spanish) would be a strong benefit • Strong commitment to support others to reach their goals and support growth and development. • Self-motivated, determined, and well-organized team player with a positive attitude towards customer service. • Ability to motivate others. • You have passion to win and persistence to complete complex cases. • Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
